Power Supplies for the PA Air Assisted Door Opener
There are three main power source choices for our automatic door openers, customer requirements will dictate the selection most suitable.
Stored Air
An air cylinder can be used for low use applications. Air cylinders will need to be exchanged on a regular basis depending on operator usage.
Small Tank
Mounted air compressors which are commonly available. These are particularly suited where a garage, cellar or utility room is available and noise is not an issue.
The compressor will run for about two minutes per day per door opener connected.
Up to 10 door openers can be run from a single compressor installation, drastically reducing costs where 2 or more openers are required
Small Simple to use Hand Pump.
Very affordable, easy to use and simple to fit, this hand pump has been designed for ease of operation, either using from a wheelchair or a standing position, a couple of simple pumps and the door is open. After holding the door open for you to pass the release mechanism allows the door to close.
