Operating Our Automatic Door Openers
Principals of operation
Our products use standard pneumatic components commonly used in industrial applications to accomplish tasks. Using pneumatics, safety and slow control of movement are our most important design characteristics.
Pressurized air is used with liner actuators, valves, flow controls to closely replicate the forces normally associated with the application, a good example of this is our door opener, there is little difference in the way the door is opened and closed by hand, even after our opener is fitted.
Operation to activate door on request
Various options:

- Doors may have a wall mounted button. No wiring needed as to system works via a radio signal.
- Pressure mats can be placed under a rug and the door will open as the wheelchair passes over or the mat is walked on.
- An infra red beam is also available.
- Simple hand operated pump - Mainly for use in private homes on internal doors. A free standing pump is located on each side of the door, does not require a compressor.
