This is a wide, heavy access door to a large residential care home for disabled people.
The door is fitted with a closer and is locked overnight by the staff and fitted with a panic bar.
The door is heavily used by the staff and residents alike and is fitted with push buttons and pressure mats.
Despite the heavy usage of the door, the same small compressor has been used to power the opener for the past four years with little maintenance required on the system.
The opener works on a timer to keep the door open for the desired time and then allowing the closer to function as normal.
