Example 1 of PennyAids air assisted automatic door openers
This door is a communal entrance to a group of flats.
This is an outward opening front door to a lobby area for a small block of flats. The door was fitted with an existing standard hydraulic closer.
PennyAids designed a purpose made bracket to fit alongside the closer mechanism with no modifications needed to the closer or door.
The door opens by the use of a key fob held by the disabled occupier of one of the flats. The door opener interfaces with the existing access control intercom system to release the door latch mechanism upon the "open" command.

The door is held open for an optimum amount of time to allow the user to manoeuvre in or out of the entrance.
The system is then de-pressurised and the closer allowed to close the door and lock.
